1. Company Information and General Provisions

1.1 Company Details

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the OneType platform and related services provided by:

(hereinafter referred to as “OneType”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1.2 Scope of the Terms

These Terms set out the rules for using the OneType web application and related services, including AI-assisted content generation, scheduling, and publication features designed to support professional communication on social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn).

By accessing or using OneType, you (“User” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1.3 Legal Nature

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between OneType and the User, entered into electronically upon registration or first use of the Service. They apply to all features provided through the domain https://www.onetype.me and any subdomains or related web applications operated by OneType.

1.4 Business Use

The Service is intended primarily for business and professional users (including entrepreneurs, freelancers, and companies). Consumers may also use the Service unless otherwise restricted, but certain consumer law protections (such as the right of withdrawal) may not apply to business use.

1.5 Contact and Language

All communication with OneType should be conducted in English or Polish. The governing language of these Terms is English. Translations may be provided for convenience only.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

2.1 Service

The online platform operated under the domain https://www.onetype.me, including all its functionalities, web applications, APIs, and related digital services provided by OneType.

2.2 User

Any individual or legal entity that accesses or uses the Service, whether as a registered account holder or as a visitor.

2.3 Account

A personal or business profile created by the User to access and use the Service, established through registration or via third-party authentication (for example, LinkedIn OAuth).

2.4 Input Materials

All materials, data, recordings, videos, voice notes, documents, or other content submitted or uploaded by the User to the Service for processing, including text, audio, or video used to generate content.

2.5 AI Output

Any text, image, video, or other content generated by OneType’s systems, algorithms, or artificial intelligence tools based on the User’s Input Materials or instructions.

2.6 Content

Collectively refers to Input Materials, AI Output, and any other materials generated, uploaded, or transmitted through the Service.

2.7 Subscription

A paid plan that grants the User access to certain features or usage limits within the Service for a defined period, subject to payment of applicable fees.

2.8 Agreement

The contractual relationship between the User and OneType established upon acceptance of these Terms.

2.9 Privacy Policy

The separate document available on the OneType website, which describes how personal data is collected, processed, and protected.

2.10 Platform

Refers to the digital infrastructure, including web interfaces, APIs, and software components, through which OneType provides the Service.

3. Account Creation and Eligibility

3.1 Registration

To access the Service, the User must create an Account by providing accurate and complete information as requested during the registration process. The Account may be created using an email address and password.

3.2 Accuracy of Information

The User is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration and throughout the use of the Service remains accurate, current, and complete. OneType is not liable for any issues arising from inaccurate or outdated User information.

3.3 Account Security

The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities performed under their Account. OneType will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to the Account due to the User’s negligence.

3.4 LinkedIn Integration

When connecting a LinkedIn account, authentication is performed securely through the official LinkedIn API using OAuth. OneType does not store or have access to the User’s LinkedIn password.

3.5 Age and Legal Capacity

The Service may only be used by individuals who are at least 18 years old and who have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By using the Service, the User confirms that these conditions are met.

3.6 Business Use

Users creating an Account on behalf of a company or other organization represent and warrant that they have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3.7 Account Termination by User

The User may terminate their Account at any time through the account settings interface or by contacting OneType at support@onetype.me. Upon termination, all stored data and content may be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

3.8 Suspension or Termination by OneType

OneType reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Account without prior notice if the User violates these Terms, uses the Service in a manner that may cause harm, or engages in any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.

4. Scope of Service

4.1 Description of the Service

OneType provides an online platform that assists Users in creating, repurposing, and scheduling professional content for social media channels, primarily LinkedIn. The Service uses artificial intelligence tools to analyze the User’s Input Materials and generate AI Output in the form of written, visual, or audiovisual content.

4.2 Features

The Service may include, among others:
a) transcription and analysis of User-provided Input Materials,
b) AI-generated drafts of social media posts, articles, or related content,
c) optional editing and scheduling of approved content for publication,
d) management of content pipelines and publication timelines,
e) integration with third-party platforms (for example, LinkedIn) through secure APIs.

4.3 Human Review and Responsibility

The Service is designed to assist Users, not to replace human judgment. The User is solely responsible for reviewing and approving all AI Output before publication or use. OneType does not guarantee the factual accuracy, reliability, or legality of any AI Output.

4.4 Limitations

The Service depends on third-party APIs, including but not limited to LinkedIn and OpenAI, and may be affected by their availability, limitations, or policy changes. OneType cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of such integrations.

4.5 No Obligation to Store Content

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, OneType does not guarantee the permanent storage of Input Materials or AI Output. Users are encouraged to retain their own copies of all important data or materials.

4.6 Modifications of the Service

OneType reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, temporarily or permanently. In the case of material changes that affect paid features, Users will be notified in advance whenever reasonably possible.

4.7 Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. OneType will make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and reliability but cannot guarantee continuous access or operation without interruptions.

4.8 Support

Basic technical support for Users is available via email at support@onetype.me. Response times may vary depending on the nature of the request and User’s subscription plan.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of the Service

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, algorithms, user interface, design, databases, and underlying technology, are and shall remain the exclusive property of OneType or its licensors. The User does not acquire any ownership rights by using the Service.

5.2 Ownership of Input Materials

All Input Materials uploaded, submitted, or otherwise provided by the User remain the property of the User. By submitting such materials, the User grants OneType a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and modify the Input Materials solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.3 Ownership of AI Output

The AI Output generated by the Service based on the User’s Input Materials is considered to belong to the User, provided that all applicable fees have been paid. OneType retains no ownership over the AI Output, except for the limited rights necessary to host, display, and transmit it within the Service.

5.4 Limited License to OneType

The User grants OneType a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store and process Input Materials and AI Output for the duration of the Agreement, solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license automatically terminates when the Account is deleted or the Agreement ends.

5.5 Optional Marketing Use

If the User provides explicit written consent, OneType may use anonymized excerpts of the User’s AI Output or project results for marketing, educational, or portfolio purposes. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

5.6 Restrictions

Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service or its technology, except as expressly permitted under these Terms.

5.7 Third-Party Rights

The User is responsible for ensuring that their Input Materials do not infringe any intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or privacy rights of third parties. OneType reserves the right to remove or block access to any material that appears to violate such rights.

6. Licensing and Permitted Use

6.1 License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, OneType grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes during the term of the Agreement.

6.2 Permitted Use

The User may use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Service may be used to create, edit, and manage professional content for the User’s own business or for clients, provided that all activity complies with applicable laws and the rights of third parties.

6.3 Prohibited Use

The User shall not, directly or indirectly:
a) use the Service for any unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading purpose,
b) submit Input Materials that contain personal data of third parties without consent,
c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure,
d) reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the Service’s code or security features,
e) use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or automated bulk content,
f) bypass usage limits, subscription restrictions, or technical controls implemented by OneType,
g) use the Service in a manner that may damage or impair the performance of the platform or its integrations,
h) use the Service to promote or distribute pornographic or sexually explicit content,
i) use the Service to promote, justify, or encourage the exploitation of non-human animals, including factory farming, the production or sale of meat, dairy, or other animal–derived products,
j) use the Service to promote or disseminate anti-scientific, conspiratorial, or pseudoscientific claims,
k) use the Service to create or share hateful, discriminatory, or harassing content directed at individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic protected by human rights law,
l) use the Service in any way that promotes, incites, or glorifies violence, discrimination, or violations of human rights.

6.4 User Responsibility

The User is fully responsible for all activity carried out through their Account and for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, these Terms, and fundamental human rights principles.

6.5 Suspension of Access

OneType reserves the right to immediately suspend or restrict access to the Service if the User’s activity violates these Terms or the ethical standards outlined herein, or if such activity poses a risk to the stability, security, or reputation of the platform.

6.6 Compliance with Third-Party Terms

Certain features of the Service rely on third-party platforms, including LinkedIn and OpenAI. The User agrees to comply with all applicable third-party terms of use, and acknowledges that violations of such terms may result in suspension or termination of access to related features.

7. AI Output Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Nature of AI Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate text, images, or other forms of content based on the User’s Input Materials. The AI Output is produced algorithmically and may include factual inaccuracies, omissions, or unintended biases.

7.2 User Review and Approval

The User acknowledges that all AI Output provided through the Service is for informational and creative support purposes only. The User is solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving the AI Output before publishing or using it in any context.

7.3 No Professional Advice

AI Output generated by the Service does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal, financial, medical, or technical advice. The User must not rely on AI Output as a substitute for professional judgment or consultation.

7.4 Liability for Content

OneType is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, legality, or ethical implications of any AI Output created using the Service. The User bears full responsibility for the content they publish, distribute, or act upon, including compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.

7.5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneType shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from or related to the use or inability to use the Service or any AI Output.

7.6 Liability Cap

In no event shall OneType’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms exceed the total amount of fees paid by the User to OneType during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to such claim.

7.7 No Warranty

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without any warranty, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7.8 Indirect Use and Third Parties

OneType shall not be liable for any use of the Service by third parties, including employees, contractors, or clients of the User, or for any reliance placed on AI Output by individuals other than the User.

8. Data Handling, Security, and Privacy

8.1 Data Protection Principles

OneType processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and related national legislation. All processing activities are guided by the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimization, and security.

8.2 Roles and Responsibilities

Depending on the context, OneType may act as a data controller or a data processor.
a) As a data controller, OneType determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, such as for account management and communication.
b) As a data processor, OneType processes Input Materials and other personal data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the User, for the purpose of delivering the Service.

8.3 Categories of Data Processed

Data processed within the Service may include:
a) identification data such as name, email address, and contact information,
b) account and subscription details,
c) Input Materials provided by the User, including text, audio, or video recordings that may contain personal data,
d) AI Output generated from the Input Materials,
e) technical data such as IP address, device identifiers, and usage logs,
f) payment and billing information processed through third-party providers.

8.4 Purpose of Processing

Personal data is processed to:
a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service,
b) personalize User experience and generated content,
c) enable communication, customer support, and billing,
d) comply with legal obligations,
e) prevent misuse or fraud,
f) enhance platform security and reliability.

8.5 Subprocessors and Third Parties

To provide and operate the Service, OneType may use trusted third-party service providers (“subprocessors”). These subprocessors may handle limited categories of User data strictly for the purpose of delivering specific functionalities of the Service.

Subprocessors currently used by OneType include:

• OpenAI (content generation, text and language processing)
  
• Anthropic (Claude AI – content generation and reasoning assistance)
  
• Perplexity (research and contextual data sourcing)
  
• Google (Gemini AI and cloud infrastructure)
  
• ElevenLabs (voice synthesis and audio enhancement)
  
• Stripe (payment processing)
  
• Cloud hosting providers such as Google Cloud and Contabo (infrastructure and data storage)
  

All subprocessors are bound by data protection agreements ensuring confidentiality, data security, and compliance with GDPR or equivalent safeguards. The current list of subprocessors may be updated periodically and will be made available to Users upon request.

8.6 International Transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, such transfers will occur only under appropriate legal safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

8.7 Data Security

OneType implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include encryption, pseudonymization, access control, secure authentication, and periodic security reviews.

8.8 Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. After account termination, data may be retained for a limited time for administrative, legal, or security reasons before being permanently deleted or anonymized.

8.9 User Rights

Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of their personal data, and the right to data portability as provided under GDPR. Users may exercise these rights by contacting OneType at privacy@onetype.me.

8.10 Reference to Privacy Policy

Detailed information on how personal data is processed, stored, and protected is provided in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.onetype.me/legal/privacy-policy.

8.11 Service Improvement and Anonymized Data

OneType may process aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized data derived from User activity and Input Materials for the purpose of improving the performance, accuracy, and functionality of the Service. Such data shall not contain personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify any individual User. Where personal data would be required for improvement or testing purposes, explicit consent will be requested from the User prior to processing.

9. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

9.1 Subscription Model

Access to certain features or extended use of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and features are described on the OneType website or within the user interface of the platform.

9.2 Billing and Payment

Payments for subscriptions are processed securely through third-party payment providers, such as Stripe. By providing payment information, the User authorizes OneType and its payment processor to charge the applicable fees in accordance with the selected plan. OneType does not store or have access to full payment card details.

9.3 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually), depending on the plan selected. The billing period begins on the date the subscription is activated and automatically renews unless canceled in accordance with these Terms.

9.4 Taxes and VAT

All prices displayed on the OneType website are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless stated otherwise. OneType is a VAT-registered entity in Poland and will collect and remit VAT in accordance with Polish and EU VAT regulations. The applicable VAT rate will be calculated based on the User’s billing address and may vary depending on the country of residence or business registration.
For Users registered as VAT-payers within the European Union, a valid VAT identification number may be required to apply the reverse-charge mechanism where permitted by law.

9.5 Upgrades and Downgrades

Users may upgrade or downgrade their subscription plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified. The new fee will be charged at the beginning of the next billing period.

9.6 Automatic Renewal

Unless canceled by the User, all subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing term. The User authorizes OneType to automatically charge the renewal fee using the payment method on file. Users will be notified prior to renewal where required by applicable law.

9.7 Cancellation by User

The User may cancel a subscription at any time through the account settings or by contacting support@onetype.me. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to the paid features will remain active until that date.

9.8 Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws or where OneType, at its sole discretion, determines that exceptional circumstances justify a refund. Partial refunds are not provided for unused portions of the billing cycle.

9.9 Free Trials and Promotions

OneType may offer free trials, discounts, or promotional access at its discretion. Such offers are subject to their specific conditions, and OneType reserves the right to modify or terminate them at any time.

9.10 Failed Payments

If a payment fails or is declined, OneType may suspend or restrict access to the Service until payment is successfully processed. If the User does not update payment information or complete the payment within a reasonable period, the Account may be terminated.

9.11 Changes to Pricing

OneType reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Users will be notified in advance of any changes that affect their existing subscription. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

10. Termination and Suspension

10.1 Termination by User

The User may terminate their Account at any time through the account settings or by submitting a written request to support@onetype.me. Upon termination, the User’s access to the Service will cease at the end of the current billing period, unless otherwise specified.

10.2 Termination by OneType

OneType may terminate or suspend the User’s Account, without prior notice, if:
a) the User violates these Terms or applicable law,
b) the User engages in activity that threatens the integrity, security, or reputation of the Service,
c) the User fails to make required payments,
d) OneType is required to do so by law, regulation, or order of a competent authority, or
e) OneType discontinues the Service entirely.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination of the Account for any reason:
a) the User’s license to use the Service shall immediately cease,
b) access to stored Input Materials and AI Output may be permanently deleted,
c) OneType will not be obligated to maintain or forward any data unless required by law,
d) any outstanding fees owed by the User remain payable.

10.4 Suspension of Access

OneType reserves the right to temporarily suspend a User’s access to the Service, in whole or in part, if:
a) there is a suspected violation of these Terms or any applicable law,
b) necessary for maintenance, security, or system updates,
c) required by third-party service providers or integrations.

Suspension will last only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the underlying issue or complete required maintenance.

10.5 Termination of Service by OneType

If OneType decides to discontinue the Service entirely, Users will be provided with reasonable advance notice whenever possible. In such cases, paid Users may receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period.

10.6 Survival of Provisions

The termination of this Agreement shall not affect provisions that by their nature are intended to survive termination, including but not limited to sections concerning intellectual property, limitations of liability, confidentiality, and governing law.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Warsaw, Poland.

11.3 EU Consumer Protection

If the User is a consumer residing in the European Union, they may also be entitled to bring disputes before the competent courts of their country of residence. This clause does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights provided under applicable law.

11.4 Good Faith Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties shall make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute or claim amicably through good faith negotiation.

11.5 Alternative Dispute Resolution

Where permitted by law, OneType may agree to participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or online dispute resolution (ODR).

11.6 Future Incorporation

In the event that OneType becomes incorporated in another jurisdiction, such as the United States, these Terms may be amended to designate the new governing law and jurisdiction, with appropriate notice provided to Users.

12. Modifications to the Terms

12.1 Right to Modify

OneType reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms at any time to reflect changes in the Service, applicable law, or business practices.

12.2 Notification of Changes

When material changes are made to these Terms, OneType will notify Users by email or by displaying a notice within the Service before the new Terms take effect. The notification will specify the effective date of the updated Terms.

12.3 Acceptance of Changes

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes the User’s acceptance of the updated Terms. If the User does not agree to the modifications, they may terminate their Account in accordance with Section 10.

12.4 Historical Versions

Previous versions of these Terms may be archived and made available upon request for reference.

12.5 Non-Material Updates

Non-material updates, such as grammatical corrections or clarifications that do not alter the meaning of the Terms, may be implemented without prior notice.

13.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional agreements or policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between the User and OneType regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior discussions, understandings, or agreements, whether written or oral.

13.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

13.4 No Waiver

Failure or delay by OneType to enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

13.5 Assignment

The User may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from OneType. OneType may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, or transfer of assets, provided that such assignment does not materially reduce the User’s rights.

13.6 Force Majeure

OneType shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, power outages, or failures of third-party service providers.

13.7 Headings

Headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

13.8 Effective Date

These Terms and Conditions enter into force on the date of their publication on the OneType website and remain in effect until replaced by a revised version.
